  • 91 Points Gary Vaynerchuk: "COLOR-dark; NOSE-wild; very interesting; black forest mushroom component; Sloppy Joe action (w/ tomato); great fruit (strawberry); TASTE-Silk Alert!!! Pomegranate; hints of oak; gorgeous silky smooth finish; ready to Rock-Zor the hizzy right now; great polish; pomegranate; mid-palate loaded w/ black currant; subtle chocolate on the entry; great length; real explosive palate presence on this wine; gorgeous, pure, beautiful cherries on the mid-palate to the finish; a little light for some; great to drink by itself and great for food; mushrooms on the tail end of the finish; a hint of pickle juice sourness about 27% into the wine which could turn off some, but lots of fruit though ("TheDumbPhase" will like this); a really nice wine; a shockingly gorgeous STEAL!!"

      Oh yes, this is an excellent wine. Still have one bottle left. I would buy more but I have already exceeded my wine budget this month, and it is only the 11th :-( Salud.

      91 points on CellarTracker as of 2/12/08! That was based on 1 tasting note! Why not just say “Some random guy on CellarTracker liked it”?

      buddy of mine says this wine tastes like dill pickles. he hated it. I ordered 2 last night. should be interesting.

      Picked up some of the 03 vintage last year for about $22. Just OK for the price. Don’t think I will be in for the 04 at $28, but don’t let me stop you from giving it a try.
